Glan Laser Polarizing Prism
Glan laser polarizing prisms are applicable to laser beams in the wavelength range of 200 nm to 4 μm. The transmitted extraordinary ray (e-ray, P-polarized component) features an extinction ratio over 2 x 105, making it suitable for applications requiring high-quality polarized beams. The reflected light is partially polarized and exits through the side ports of the prism. This prism is only suitable for collimated incident beams. Convergent or divergent light will fail to satisfy the total internal reflection condition, causing the reflected light unable to emit from the side windows.
- Broadband high power polarizers for visible or near IR wavelengths
- Double escape windows for intracavity use
- Air-spaced
- Close to Brewster’s Angle Cutting
- High Polarization Purity
- Short Length
