Uncoated H-K9L Roof Prism
K9 Roof Prisms are designed to rotate and invert images while deflecting the light path at a precise 90° angle. They are widely used in telescopes and other optical instruments that require image correction, proper orientation restoration and 90° beam bending to ensure an upright and correctly oriented final viewing image.
These prisms are manufactured from high-performance K9 optical glass, which features high transmittance across the broadband spectral range of 350 nm to 2000 nm. With high hardness, excellent resistance to physical and chemical damage, and extremely low bubbles and inclusions, K9 glass serves as a premium substrate for producing various high-precision optical components.
Tuniu Optics supplies a full range of standard K9 roof prisms with clear apertures from Φ9 mm to Φ29 mm and high surface flatness of λ/10 @ 632.8 nm. Custom K9 roof prisms tailored to specific application requirements are also available upon request.
