Silicon(Si) Windows
Silicon (Si) Windows are high-precision plane-parallel optical plates, commonly used as protective windows for electronic sensors and external environmental detection equipment. Key selection specifications include substrate material, spectral transmittance, transmission wavelength range, surface figure, surface quality and parallelism tolerance to meet different application requirements.
Silicon is a widely used infrared optical material with a transmission range of 1.2 μm to 8.0 μm and excellent thermal conductivity. Serving as an ideal substrate for lenses, windows and various optical components, silicon windows are widely applied in near-infrared and mid-infrared scenarios, including infrared imaging, terahertz imaging, medical equipment and military systems.
Tuniu Optics provides silicon windows with uncoated and anti-reflection coated options, including double-sided IR1 (3–5 μm) broadband AR coatings for specialized infrared use.
