Fused Silica Dome Windows
Fused Silica Dome Windows are hemispherical protective optical domes optimized for applications with large-angle incident light, commonly deployed to protect detectors, optical sensors and other precision optical systems.
Manufactured from high-quality UV fused silica, these domes feature an extended transmission spectrum covering 185 nm to 2.1 μm with excellent transmittance in the ultraviolet range. Compared with K9 optical glass, fused silica offers lower refractive index, superior optical homogeneity and a smaller thermal expansion coefficient, along with high chemical resistance and extremely low fluorescence. These outstanding optical and mechanical properties make it an ideal material for high-performance optical components across various demanding applications.
