Bandpass Filter, >10 nm FWHM, 214-2000 nm

Narrowband interference bandpass filters feature a transmission band enclosed by two rejection bands. They only allow specific wavelengths to pass through while blocking all other spectral bands. Such filters are widely used in spectroscopy, clinical chemistry, imaging and other fields. Bandwidth refers to the spectral range of light transmitted by an optical filter. Narrowband filters (< 20 nm) are commonly applied to elemental and chemical analysis, analytical instruments and laser line cleaning. Broadband filters (> 20 nm) are suitable for imaging scenarios including fluorescence microscopy, machine vision and factory automation.

To prevent thermal effects caused by off-band radiation from degrading filter performance, the coated dielectric film side is recommended to face the light source. The dielectric film thickness of the filter is designed for collimated normal incident light. For non-collimated light or oblique incidence, the designed central wavelength will shift toward shorter wavelengths, and the transmission profile of the passband will also change.

We offer standard mounted bandpass filters in Ø12.7 mm and Ø25.4 mm. Custom filters are available to meet your specific requirements.
