CaF2 Plano-Convex Lenses, AR1.65-3μm
Calcium fluoride is widely used in applications requiring high transmittance across both ultraviolet and infrared spectral ranges. It features an extremely high laser damage threshold, making it suitable for excimer laser systems. With a low refractive index ranging from 1.35 to 1.51 within its operating bandwidth of 180 nm to 8000 nm, calcium fluoride also exhibits excellent chemical inertness. Compared with similar fluoride materials such as barium fluoride, magnesium fluoride and lithium fluoride, it delivers superior hardness.
Tuniu Optics supplies plano-convex lenses with a diameter of 25.4 mm. Uncoated versions feature a broad working spectrum and high damage threshold, while anti-reflection coated options are available for the 1650–3000 nm band. The AR coating effectively reduces surface reflection to an average single-surface reflectance below 1%, greatly improving optical transmittance. Custom specifications are available upon request.
