H-K9L Dove Prism
Dove prisms are professional optical image rotators that invert images by 180° as light passes through them. When the prism rotates around its optical axis, the image rotates at twice the angular speed of the prism. Metal-coated Dove prisms can be used as an effective replacement for retroreflectors. Structurally optimized by removing the redundant right-angle sections of standard right-angle prisms, Dove prisms reduce overall weight and suppress internal stray light reflection.
Fabricated from high-performance K9L optical glass, these prisms feature excellent broadband transmittance ranging from 350 nm to 2000 nm. The material offers high hardness, strong resistance to physical and chemical corrosion, and extremely low levels of bubbles and inclusions, making it a premium substrate for manufacturing various precision optical components.
