UV Fused Silica Corner Cube Prism
UV Fused Silica Corner Cube Prisms are primarily applied for optical collimation and high-precision retroreflection, reliably reflecting incident light beams back to their original direction. Featuring three internal reflections, these prisms return both beams and images along the incoming optical path. The prism delivers stable 180° retroreflection with image inversion even at non-zero incident angles. Insensitive to alignment deviations, corner cube prisms are the optimal choice for retroreflective optical setups.
Compared with K9 optical glass, UV fused silica offers an extended spectral transmission range from 185 nm to 2.1 μm and exceptional transmittance throughout the ultraviolet spectrum. It features a lower refractive index, superior optical homogeneity, and a smaller thermal expansion coefficient, along with excellent chemical resistance and extremely low fluorescence. These outstanding properties make it the ideal substrate for all ultraviolet optical applications.

Available options include uncoated versions, prisms with silver coatings on reflective surfaces, and products with various anti-reflection coatings on the entrance surface.
