Metallic N-BK7 Right-Angle Prism Mirror, Hypotenuse Coated
Tuniu metal film right angle prism mirrors feature a dedicated metal coating on the prism hypotenuse, designed to reflect beams incident on the hypotenuse from outside the prism at 0°–45°, enabling efficient and precise beam deflection.
These prisms adopt a silver film with a protective layer, where the silver film surface is covered with a silicon dioxide dielectric coating to prevent surface silver oxidation. While the protective layer effectively resists silver tarnishing, the prisms are not suitable for high-temperature or high-humidity environments—harsh conditions can compromise the protective layer, leading to silver film oxidation and performance degradation.
The composite coating delivers superior broadband reflectivity for infrared light, along with excellent performance in visible and near-infrared regions. It achieves an average reflectivity of > 97.5% at 450–2000 nm and > 96% at 2–20 μm. With extremely low intrinsic group delay dispersion (GDD) across the operating wavelength range, it is highly suitable for redirecting lasers emitted by femtosecond laser systems.
Attention
Due to the special nature of the metal film, prolonged exposure to air, high humidity, or chemical corrosive gases may cause oxidation, affecting product performance. This product is classified as a consumable. To ensure normal use and extend its service life, please follow the following storage and usage guidelines:
- Keep the environment clean and dry before use.
- Wear gloves during operation to avoid direct contact with the optical surface.
- Avoid damaging the product (scratches, abrasions, etc., will accelerate oxidation and coating delamination).
- When not in temporary use, seal and store it in the accompanying protective box.
