H-K9L Plano-Convex Lenses, Uncoated/AR400-1650nm
Tuniu Optics plano-convex lenses are fabricated from high-grade H-K9L glass. If the special merits of UV fused silica — such as high transmittance in the ultraviolet range and a low thermal expansion coefficient — are not required, H-K9L is the preferred material.
These lenses feature a positive focal length and are suitable for both infinite and finite conjugate applications. Plano-convex lenses can focus collimated beams and collimate light emitted from point sources. To minimize spherical aberration, the curved surface should face the incoming collimated beam for focusing; for collimating a point light source, the plane surface should face the light source.
