Laser UVFS Windows
Fused silica glass is an ideal ultraviolet optical material, offering high transmittance across the spectral range of 220 nm to 2500 nm, along with excellent chemical stability and a low thermal expansion coefficient.
This series of fused silica windows is available in uncoated and multiple anti-reflection coated versions. Uncoated windows feature a typical surface reflection loss of 4% per surface, while AR coatings reduce the average surface reflectance to Rave < 0.5% within the specified wavelength band.
These high-precision fused silica windows adopt laser-grade surface quality and parallelism specifications. They feature a transmitted wavefront distortion of λ/10 and parallelism better than 5 arcseconds. With a high laser-induced damage threshold, they are well suited for laser systems and industrial optical applications.
