H-K9L High Precision Right Angle Prisms
Right Angle Prisms are widely utilized to bend imaging paths and deflect optical beams by 90°. A pair of right angle prisms can also be assembled for image combination and beam offset. K9 optical glass delivers outstanding broadband transmittance ranging from 350 nm to 2000 nm. It features high hardness, excellent physical and chemical stability, as well as low bubble and inclusion content, making it an ideal substrate for manufacturing a variety of precision optical components.
Tuniu Optics provides high-precision K9 Right Angle Prisms with surface flatness of λ/10 @632.8 nm. The prisms are available in sizes from 1 mm to 50 mm, covering visible and near-infrared spectral ranges. Two standard coating configurations are offered: aluminum coating on right-angle faces with AR coating on the hypotenuse, and AR coating on right-angle faces with aluminum coating on the hypotenuse.
Note: Although the hypotenuse of a right angle prism satisfies total internal reflection at a 45° incidence, the reflectance will be greatly affected for beams with off-normal incidence. For applications with large incident angles, prisms with aluminum-coated hypotenuses are recommended.
