CaF2 Plano-Concave Lenses, Uncoated, 180-8000nm/AR2-5μm
Tuniu calcium fluoride (CaF₂) plano-concave lenses are engineered for high optical transmission across both ultraviolet and infrared spectrums. Featuring an ultra-high laser damage threshold, CaF₂ is ideal for excimer laser and high-energy optical systems. The material delivers a low refractive index of 1.35 to 1.51 throughout its wide operational wavelength range of 180 nm to 8000 nm. Compared with barium fluoride, magnesium fluoride and lithium fluoride, calcium fluoride provides excellent chemical inertness and superior hardness for stable, long-term performance.
These CaF₂ plano-concave lenses come in a standard 25.4 mm diameter and are offered in uncoated and anti-reflection (AR) coated options. The uncoated lenses feature broadband transmission and a high laser damage threshold, while AR-coated versions are optimized for the 2000–5000 nm waveband. The specialized AR coatings minimize surface reflection with single-sided average reflectivity below 1%, effectively improving overall optical transmittance.
