Tuniu N-BK7 plano concave lenses are manufactured from standard borosilicate crown optical glass, delivering reliable optical performance with cost-effectiveness. Featuring excellent homogeneity, minimal bubbles and low impurities, along with easy processing properties, N-BK7 is well suited for visible and near-infrared applications. It serves as a practical alternative to ultraviolet fused silica for applications that do not require high UV transmittance and ultra-low thermal expansion performance.
Available in 12.7 mm and 25.4 mm diameters, our plano concave lenses are offered in uncoated and anti-reflection (AR) coated options. Uncoated lenses provide broadband spectral coverage and a high laser damage threshold, while AR-coated versions are optimized for 350–700 nm, 650–1100 nm and 1050–1700 nm working wavebands. The AR coatings reduce single-sided average surface reflection to below 0.5%, effectively improving overall lens transmittance.
