Calcium Fluoride(CaF2) Plano-Convex(PCX) Cylindrical Lenses, Uncoated/AR3~5μm

Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) plano-convex cylindrical lenses feature a positive focal length with one flat surface and one convex cylindrical profile, focusing incident light into a linear spot. They are widely used to converge parallel or diverging beams into a line and adjust the aspect ratio of imaging.

CaF2 boasts a broad transmission spectrum from 180 nm to 8.0 μm, alongside high laser damage threshold, low fluorescence and superior optical homogeneity. Though relatively soft and prone to surface scratching, it is ideal for laser collimation and serves as an excellent substrate for various optical components. To minimize spherical aberration, collimated beams should enter from the convex surface for linear focusing; for collimating linear light sources, incidence should be on the plano side.

Tuniu Optics offers CaF2 plano-convex cylindrical lenses in a full range of sizes and focal lengths, available in uncoated and broadband AR-coated versions optimized for the 3–5 μm IR1 band. Custom specifications are also available to meet your specific application requirements.
