UV Fused Silica Precision Dual Surface Optical Flats
UV Fused Silica Precision Dual Surface Optical Flats adopt double-sided ultra-precision polishing technology. Both optical surfaces feature excellent flatness accuracy and high parallelism, allowing either side to be used as a standard reference plane. These optical flats are widely utilized to detect and calibrate flatness deviation and surface fitting performance for high-precision polished optical components and related parts.
Every dual-surface optical flat from Tuniu Optics is finely processed and professionally tested with a Zygo interferometer to guarantee consistent and reliable surface precision. Compared with conventional K9 optical glass, UV fused silica provides an extended transmission spectrum from 185 nm to 2.1 μm and outstanding transmittance in the ultraviolet range. It also features a lower refractive index, superior optical homogeneity, minimal thermal expansion coefficient, excellent chemical resistance and extremely low fluorescence, making it an ideal substrate for manufacturing high-end precision optical elements.
