UV Fused Silica Single Surface Optical Flats
UV Fused Silica Single Surface Optical Flats feature one ultra-precision polished optical surface with superior flatness accuracy, serving as a high-grade reference standard plane. They are primarily used for inspecting and calibrating flatness deviation and surface fitting performance of high-precision polished components.
Each optical flat from Tuniu Optics is finely processed and strictly tested with a Zygo interferometer to ensure reliable and consistent surface precision. Compared with K9 optical glass, UV fused silica offers a broader transmission spectrum ranging from 185 nm to 2.1 μm and delivers excellent transmittance in the ultraviolet band. It features lower refractive index, better optical homogeneity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, higher chemical resistance and extremely low fluorescence, making it an ideal substrate for manufacturing various high-performance optical components.
