ZnSe Aspheric Lenses
Aspheric lenses are engineered to effectively eliminate spherical aberration for improved optical performance. Ideal for barcode scanning and laser diode collimation, these single-element optical designs reduce the total quantity of components and simplify overall optical system configuration. Tuniu Optics supplies aspheric lenses in both uncoated and anti-reflection (AR) coated versions to suit different application requirements.
Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) aspherical lenses feature a high refractive index of approximately 2.4. Compared with aspherical lenses made from materials such as CaF₂, they deliver shorter focal length and lower dispersion.
Notes: ZnSe is a hazardous substance. Always wear gloves to avoid direct skin contact, and thoroughly wash hands after handling. Given ZnSe’s inherently low hardness, extra caution and care are required during processing and handling.
